The Role:
Our After School Care program, called Croco Club, consists of a team staff members: After School Care Assistants and one After School Care Coordinator. Throughout this school year we are seeking for Substitute After School Care Assistants who are flexible in their availability: in the afternoons during school weeks and whole days during school holidays and during the absence of staff members due to illness, personal leave, or other reasons.
The Work:
As Substitute After School Care Assistant, you supervise the After School Care students aged 3 to 14. You are a mentor to a group of children, observing and stimulating the students in their development. Additionally you:

*Please note that the qualifications to work in Childcare in The Netherlands are very strict. Foreign applicants need to have their credentials/diplomas verified by either DUO (EU citizens) or IDW (non-EU citizens).
Successful candidates will be placed on the After School Care sub list. When a Substitute After School Care Assistant is needed, the After School Care Coordinator will call as far in advance as possible. Please note that it is usually not possible to give a lot of notice; it is usually a few days or less. Therefore, flexibility is the key to success in substituting regularly at our After School Care. Substituting at After School Care is not a contracted position for the school, so candidates must demonstrate their legal eligibility for work.
