American School of The Hague (ASH) is looking for a full-time Admissions Assistant SY 2024-2025.

Start date is June 1, 2025. 

Location: Wassenaar, on the north side of The Hague
Language Skills: Fluency in English and knowledge of Dutch are preferred

You are an experienced professional with a background in data management, school enrollment, sales, and/or customer service. You are customer service oriented.
You have outstanding personal and time management skills. In your work you are detail oriented and show accuracy. 

The Role: As Admissions Assistant you play a key role in supporting the Director of Admissions in the day-to-day operations of the admissions process. You thrive on keeping processes running smoothly, and making every prospective student’s journey a positive one. You manage inquiries, visits by prospective families, applications, admission and enrollment phases and develop  effective relationships with families and other stakeholders to build a solid and positive understanding of the school’s mission and vision. 

The Work: You make sure every step of the admissions process is seamless. You will provide administrative support for admissions operations, including tour scheduling, inquiry response, family outreach, data entry, and reporting. You are actively managing the application process to ensure timely review of prospective students. In order to do so, building trust and maintaining relationships with review team members across the school is crucial. 

As Admissions Assistant you:

• serve as a secondary host for campus tours and other admissions activities and events for prospective students and families,
• act as the initial reviewer for files ensuring appropriate materials have been submitted and identifying any potential follow-up items, in consultation with the Admissions Director, 
• act as a point person for constituency data in systems (including but not limited to OpenApply and PowerSchool),
• support the collection, entry, and maintenance of accurate applicant and enrollment information in the school’s digital enrollment system, 
• review admissions data and systems in order to make recommendations about potential improvement,
• assist the Admissions Director with the arrangement of on-campus events such as Open Days, Student visits, Orientation and annual school-wide events.
